Christmas Book Cover Box

A few years ago, my Mom gave me a book and asked that I make a box out of it using the book’s cover. I tried to make it before last Christmas, but got frustrated and gave up. I didn’t have much experience with fine woodworking.

This year, I asked a family friend for help and he spent some time showing me how to do certain techniques in his workshop. I’m pretty happy with how this box turned out. My mom absolutely loved it.
